Using PennyPlate

Use PennyPlate lawfully and only with content you have permission to use. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, interfere with the service, bypass usage limits or abuse the signup or AI systems.

Some features require a compatible Apple device, internet access, an Apple Account or a PennyPlate account. Availability can vary by app version and region. PennyPlate is coming soon; this website’s launch list is not an app purchase.

The app’s license is governed by the end user license agreement shown with its App Store listing. Where no custom agreement is provided, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies.

Your content

You retain your rights in content you provide. You allow PennyPlate and its service providers to process that content as needed to perform the features you choose, as described in our Privacy Policy. Importing or discovering a recipe does not give you ownership of someone else’s work.

Your local kitchen collection is separate from your PennyPlate account. Keep copies of content that matters to you. An account or Premium subscription does not synchronize your cookbook between devices.

AI & food safety

AI responses, recipes, ingredient substitutions, timings and nutrition-related suggestions can be inaccurate. Review results before saving or using them. Check ingredient labels, allergies, cross-contact risks and safe food handling yourself; PennyPlate cannot certify that a recipe is allergy-safe.

PennyPlate is a cooking and planning tool, not a source of medical advice. Do not rely on it to manage a medical condition or to replace advice from a qualified professional.

Hosted AI requires your separate data-sharing permission. You can withdraw it in the app. A response or kitchen action already completed may remain saved locally even when you stop waiting or withdraw permission.

Premium subscriptions

The planned US launch price for PennyPlate Premium is $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year. The annual option charges the full yearly amount. Apple’s purchase confirmation shows the actual price, billing period and applicable terms before you agree to pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple. Manage or cancel from your Apple subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewal; access continues through the remaining paid period unless Apple reports a refund, revocation or another change to your entitlement.

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests. Request an eligible refund through Apple; eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Restore a purchase using the same Apple Account for App Store purchases and the PennyPlate account that originally received the subscription. A restore does not transfer a subscription to a different PennyPlate account.

How AI allowances work

Free accounts receive 20 points per UTC calendar month. Premium includes 600 points per service month. Annual billing still refills 600 points monthly; it does not give you a year’s points upfront. Unused recurring points do not roll over.

Points measure use of PennyPlate-hosted AI. They are not money, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and are not sold as separate credit packs. Local kitchen tools do not use hosted-AI points.

The app shows the point cost before you authorize work. Points may be held while a request is running. Completed parts of a multi-part request can use points even if other parts fail or you cancel the remaining work. Opening an existing saved result does not start a new generation charge.

Accounts, deletion & cancellation

You can sign out, withdraw hosted-AI permission or delete your PennyPlate account in Settings → Account & AI privacy. Deleting an account removes hosted AI content and account access. It does not delete your local kitchen collection or cancel an Apple subscription.

Cancel any subscription with Apple before deleting an account if you do not want it to renew. See our retention and deletion information before deleting, including what records remain. In the upcoming account-enabled release, after deletion finishes, the same Apple sign-in can create a fresh account. Deleted hosted content is not restored, a welcome bonus cannot be claimed again, and existing subscription ownership does not transfer to the fresh account. Creating a fresh account does not reset the Free allowance: points already used in the current month still count.

We may restrict access needed to protect the service from misuse or unauthorized activity. Service interruptions can occur. Check the app for the current status of a request before submitting it again.

We may update these terms as PennyPlate changes. The terms and purchase information presented when you choose a paid service apply to that purchase, subject to applicable law.
